As the wind gently caressed the American flag, we all have gathered to celebrate what once gave hope to America. Hope to be something more. Hope to be something different. Miles away from the American land, the tradition of gathering together for a BBQ on the 4th of July didn’t die. OK, OK maybe not so much as the tradition didn’t die, but the spirit and enthusiasm of our wonderful hostess was simply too contagious. It is interesting to witness how much we have grown through generations while standing among Brits and Americans. Yet it is sad to notice how much more room we have left to improve across all cultures. As the sun settles to pass the duties off to the moon, we are off to wonder what the next day will bring to us.
